Reducing Cebu’s CO2 Emissions

Prevent as much as 3,440 lbs of carbon dioxide (CO2) from being released into the atmosphere by replacing a 60-watt incandescent bulb with a 7-watt LED for the same light output.

Light emitting diode (LED) is the latest earth-friendly lighting technology that is gaining popularity because of its green status. Since LEDs use less power per unit of light generated, lower energy is consumed thus decreasing CO2 emission while lowering electric bills in the process.

CO2 emission is known to be the main contributor to global warming.  A more effective way to help in its reduction is to offset carbon emissions in however way possible.  Switching from incandescent bulbs to LEDs to reduce electricity consumption is a good start.

Greenworld LED Solutions advocates on lessening Cebu’s CO2 emission by promoting LED products to the Cebuano community.  Its incorporators envision a sustainable environment for Cebu thus they dedicate themselves to accelerating the adoption of energy-efficient and environment-friendly LED lighting systems.
